Une archive photographique marocaine
de l’indépendance à l’avènement du numérique
FR Ce projet porte sur les pratiques photographiques qui ont eu lieu au Maroc de 1956 à 2000, tant les approches amateurs que professionnelles. Un groupe de recherche a été constitué afin d’identifier des fonds photographiques marocains de cette période pouvant avoir un intérêt – sociologique, artistique ou historique. Archif 56-00 est principalement développé par des artistes, des chercheurs et des étudiants en art de divers endroits du monde. La subjectivité du regard artistique sur des productions historiques étant un rempart contre toute volonté de « faire histoire », de ré-écriture et ainsi d’éviter la figure dictatoriale potentielle des archives nationales. Ce travail de recherche prend une dimension pédagogique à la fois dans sa réflexion sur les images, la recherche de leurs qualités, de leurs spécificités, mais aussi sur la pratique curatoriale et éditoriale et ce par le biais du développement d’une politique internationale d’exposition et d’éditions. Achif 56-00 est initié par Philippe Terrier-Hermann, dans le cadre du programme de recherche Contrat Social, à l’ISBA Besançon
EN This project investigates the photographic practices that took place in Morocco from 1956 to 2000, from both amateur and professional perspectives. A working group has been set up to identify Moroccan photographic collections from this period that may be of interest - sociological, artistic or historical. Archif 56-00 is mainly developed by artists, researchers and art students from various parts of the world. The subjectivity of the artistic view on historical productions being a bulwark against any attempt to "make history", to rewrite and thus to avoid the potential dictatorial figure of the national archives. This research work takes on an educational dimension both in its reflection on images, the search for their qualities and specificities, but also on curatorial and editorial practice, through the development of an international exhibition and publishing programme. Achif 56-00 is initiated by Philippe Terrier-Hermann, as part of the Contrat Social Research Programme, at ISBA Besançon

FR Les cahiers Archif 56-00 sont édités par l’Institut supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Besançon (ISBA) sous la direction de Philippe Terrier-Hermann d’après un atelier avec Untitled (Soukaina Aboulaoula, Yvon Langué) et les étudiants de l’ISBA — Julie Annezo, Alizée Berthet, Léna Besson, Bian Chenghao, Guillaume Deschamps, Chloé Lafontaine, Mélio Lannuzel, Nicolas Lugant, Kévin Lebourdais, dans le cadre du pôle de recherche Contrat Social, soutenu par le Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication (France).
